Use this section to keep others from viewing your personal information. You may edit your account preferences privacy (https://trail.motionbased.com/trail/account/preferences.mb?context=corrections) on MotionBased.

  • Activity Privacy - This is where you decide whether you want your activities to be seen by others on the TrailNetwork or only by yourself.
    • The first selection enables you to keep some private and make others public
    • The second choice will always make all future activities private

Please note that if you begin your account with one setting and change to another, past Activities need to be changed manually. To accomplish this please see our Activity Options.

Tune-Up

Image:TuneUp.jpg

Tune-Up cleans some of the detailed information since often times hardware sensors can produce incorrect values. You may access your account preferences Tune-Up (https://trail.motionbased.com/trail/account/preferences.mb?context=corrections).

Choosing to apply the Tune-Up features here will apply the information automatically when submitting from the Inbox to the Digest. You may always override this preference by choosing to edit the activity.

  • GPS Corrections - cleans up location information that can sometimes produce erroneous values
  • MB Gravity - cleans up elevation information by cross-referencing the location with an elevation dataset

Please note that MB Gravity is not necessary with the Edge 305 as it has a built in Barometric Altimeter.
