Advanced Filters

In addition to Search and Quick Filters, you may refine the listings displayed in your Digest of My Activities and the TrailNetwork to the specific criteria. Advanced Filters do not provide the auto-suggest functionality of Quick Filters. However, you have a greater flexibility of search with more standard search criteria.
Location only refers to the population center which the activity started. To apply a region filter, go to Quick Filters and type the state in question and it will appear in the drop down. Be sure to select the item in the selection and that filter will be added.
Advanced Filters can be extremely helpful when a keyword search is too generic. In the example above, by filtering our Digest listing with Activity Names that contain the word "Boulder", we eliminate all results that originate from Boulder, Colorado or any other town in the world named Boulder. We're exclusively looking for "Boulder" in the Activity Name.

Choose from the following categories:
- Username
- Location
- Activity Name
- Comments
Filter Type
Choose from the following filter types:
- Equals
- Does Not Equal
- Contains
- Does Not Contain
Filter Details
As you enter Quick Filters and Advanced Filters, your selection criteria will display in the Filter Details box. You may remove any of these filters by clicking on the Delete link.
Common Filters
Search for Multiple Usernames
- Go to TrailNetwork (http://www.trailnetwork.com)
- Choose Advanced Filters
- Select Username
- Select Equals
- Enter trailblazer
- Press Add
- Repeat Steps 3-6 for additional usernames (I chose rwarren)
- When all desired usernames are added, press Run Report
- The results will now show all public activities for the two users (see image below)
- rwarren (http://rwarren.motionbased.com) lives in Chicago and trailblazer (http://trailblazer.motionbased.com) lives in Sausalito near San Francisco
- It is encouraged to then save this report so you won't have to enter it again.
