MotionBased displays your activity's Elevation data in the following ways:

Specific Elevation Data

  • Elevation Change This chart shows you the total elevation, as well as elevation gain and loss with the net elevation change.

  • Vertical Speed Shows you how fast you were moving (in feet per minute). In this example the participant was pushing a little harder on the uphills.

  • Grade Gives you the total ascending and descending grade for the activity, along with the respective percentages for the entire activity.

Relevant Charts

  • Elevation Profile - Elevation plotted against Distance and Time. Also allows you to display Grade.

  • Display Options: Grade
  • Elevation Distribution - Allows you to plot Elevation or Grade against distance & time.
