Device
The GPS device that was used to create this activity.
Model Forerunner, Edge, Foretrex, etc. NOTE: Sometimes the device is not shown here. This is most likely due to the software or utility used to retrieve the activity that does not report the type of equipment being used.
Version The firmware version that was on the device at upload time (not necessarily the software that was on the device when the activity was recorded).
Latest Updates Lets you know what the most recent & recommended unit software version.
GPS Track
Information about the track. These details can be used to determine the quality of information sent. For instance if a long run of 10 miles used only 200 trackpoints then the resolution may not have been good enough for detailed analysis.
Number of Trackpoints The breadcrumbs the device recorded during the activity.
Average Frequency Information on how many trackpoints are being recorded. If your device is set to Every Second recording you can see how many trackpoints your device records in this section. (Smart Recording is the suggested and preferred recording method at this time.)
Corrections
The automatic cleaning of the track which removes erroneous data. This is a complex algorithm that varies with each device, but levels may be:
- Excellent
- Good
- Fair
- Poor
Number of Corrections explains how many times the automatic corrections were applied to the entire track.
Upload
Information about how the data made it to MotionBased.
Time The date and time the data was received by MotionBased (Greenwich Mean Time)
Size The size of the file received by MotionBased.
Agent
The software that retrieved the data from the device and sent it to MotionBased.
Product like the MotionBased Agent, TopoFusion, etc. Sometimes the Agent is also the Device (like a mobile phone that has a GPS on it)
Version helps understand which version created the file sent to MotionBased. This is where you'll be prompted when there is an update to the Agent.
