The firmware version is displayed in the 'Equipment' section of the Dashboard. Follow these steps to get there:

How do I update my firmware?
- Use the Garmin WebUpdater - the most efficient and suggested path to get the latest firmware on your device.
or
- Download .rgn file - we don't encourage this path, it's more advanced and doesn't check for updates. But if you need a local copy, you can download the Edge firmware (unit software) (http://www.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00447-10).
