From MB Wiki
How to use MotionBased for an Event - MotionBased is an easy and effective mapping solution for most outdoor fitness events.
The first step is tracking the course and uploading to MotionBased. See the Quick Start Guide for help getting your courses on MotionBased. Once the data is on MotionBased, the following web tools are available to get maps and links on your site or blog.
| Table of contents |
Links
- Activity Links - link to any activity on MotionBased. Simply copy the URL from the browser address bar (while viewing that activity). It's always best to link to the Dashboard.
- Invitation Activity Links - create links to activities with an invitation page by clicking 'link to this activity' (while viewing that activity).
Viewports
A Viewport is an iframe or graphic summary of a MB activity designed for websites and blogs. Viewports link to the activity on MotionBased, where the visitor can learn more about the makeup of the route.
Viewports can be generated by any activity in your Digest. Choose the map background, and MotionBased generates the HTML that you can copy-and-paste into your website or blog.

Wikis don't allow iframes or Viewports (image above), click here (http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/invitation/accept.mb?key=MjY5MzY4&senderPk.pkValue=-1) to View the activity at MotionBased.
Google Earth Maps
Google Earth integration with MotionBased makes it easy to export your activities to Google Earth. The kind folks at Google allow users to take screen captures of their images and share on the Internet, providing it's within their terms of fair use.
Traiathlon Course - Don't have your swim course tracked and on MotionBased? Not a problem. Google Earth Plus (http://earth.google.com/earth_plus.html) allows you to draw the swim course as a 'path'.
