GStart

gStart is a small piece of software bundled and installed with the Garmin Training Center.
gStart auto detects when a Garmin GPS device is connected to a computer and auto launchs the Training Center for data transfer. It's a nice little program for dedicated TC users, but not necessary for syncing with TC or other applications. For users that don't want Training Center auto launching every time they connect a device, you can disable gStart.

Disabling
- Find the gStart icon (g) in your system tray of your task bar (bottom right of computer near the clock)
- Right click icon
- Select Exit
- Uncheck box "Automatically start gStart the next time you login", then click 'OK'
Once gStart is disabled, sync with the Training Center by clicking the 'Receive History' or 'Send Workouts and Courses' icons, or select these options from the menu 'File' drop down within the Train Center program.
