Garmin Communicator

The newest way to upload from your device if you're using a PC. This browser based software program uploads data from your Garmin GPS device to MotionBased, as well as other web sites. Uploading
If you've installed the Communicator:
- Login to your MB account
- From the Digest View, click "Upload"
- Plug in your device
- The Communicator will detect your device
- Click "Upload"
- The upload will take about a minute to go through the process and put the activity into your Inbox
Troubleshooting
Question: I'm receiving an error when I try to upload. A Microsoft Internet Explorer box that pops up and says [object error]. I am unable to upload.
Answer: You are probably trying to upload a non-GPS activity. It's either an indoor activity or satellite signal was not properly acquired before you pressed Start. MotionBased will be accepting non-GPS activities by the end of the year, so be sure to store the activity in Training Center until then.
Question: When I try to run the Garmin Communicator Plug-in installation I get a message that states I need to close my Internet browser to run the program and possibly close all other applications. I cannot get past this step even with every application and internet browser already closed.
Answer: Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete. This will bring up your list of running programs . . . sometimes things will be closed but still running. Click on the program(s) still running and select "End Task." That should shut everything down completely and you'll be ready to install the Communicator.
