The MotionBased Web Agent 1.25 is no longer available. You will need to upgrade your Safari browser to 3+, or begin using the Firefox browser along with the Garmin Communicator Plugin.


Warning: The Map Player and the Analyzer will not work in Mac OS X and the Garmin Communicator Plugin does not support Course Downloads. Partial support for the Mac is available at this time. We recommend waiting to be a paid customer until you are satisfied with the features offered to Mac users.

Software Requirements

Installation

  1. Download the Garmin Communicator Plugin available at http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3739
  2. Install the Communicator Plugin by running the package

Upload

  1. To upload your activities from your device plug your device into the USB cable.
  2. From your Activities Digest, click the Upload button.
  3. Once the Communicator Plugin recognizes your device, click Upload.
  4. Your activities will be taken from your device and uploaded to your Inbox.
  5. Name and categorize your activities and Submit them to your Digest.

Current Upload Limitations

Attempting to upload indoor/non-GPS activities will cause upload errors. If you have non-GPS activities on your device, upload them to the Garmin Training Center (http://www8.garmin.com/products/trainingcenter/) then delete them from the device. You may then upload your GPS activities to MotionBased. For info on deleting individual activities, check out the Owner's Manual (http://www8.garmin.com/support/userManual.jsp) for your device at the Garmin site.

Current Site Limitations

  • Analyzer and Map Player are not functional due to a limitation in interactions with SVG.
  • Course Downloads are not available through MotionBased at this time. You CAN transfer a Course to your device through the Garmin Training Center:
    • Open the Garmin Training Center
    • From History select the activity you wish to send to your device (courses downloaded from MotionBased must to be imported into Training Center)
    • Select File
    • Click Send to Device
