Summary Mostly just bug fixes and small enhancements. Fixing the download was the main driver for this quick release after Release 1.8.1.1.
Also, added a lot of Google capabilities including finding MB activities via Google Search (may take a while to get indexed) and made Google Maps the default Map in the Dashboard.
6960: Add Activity Types
Added Handcycling and recumbant cycling activity types.
7611: Add Warnings and information for New Versions of Agent/Device
added warning in the dashboard summary for for the owner of the activity to see if there is a new version of the Agent/Device. This message is only shown for activities performened within the past week.
7494: More attention to dynamic updating of queue processing
added a progress bar for constant feedback of how deep an upload is in the queue.
7504: put Google Maps into the Dashboard page instead of ESRI maps.
Made Google Maps be the default Map in the Dashboard. The traditional maps are available in the Account -> Preferences -> View tab.
7367: Enhance external keyword search
added ability to link to a keyword search via a URL. this link is available in the search box.
7537: Add Google Sitemap to Trail for TrailNetwork indexes
Publishing non-private activities to be indexed by Google and will be available when searching Google
7441: Agent isn't accepting Download to GPS for old Activities
Fixed a bug where downloading courses into the Edge/FR X05 would get denied by the Agent. This now means any activity at MB can be downloaded to any device that accepts courses/saved tracks. FR 301 and FR 201 do not have this ability.
7555: Special Characters causing problems during Export in IE
some characters are not acceptable as windows filenames (/ or \ are obviuos ones). IE was failing when naming an export file with one of these characters in the activity name.
7610: add export to Google Maps
Google Maps now accepts Google Earth KML. Export multiple activities from the digest directly into Google Maps at the Google site. Useful for local searching with activities inline.
7612: Add warning for detailed activities.
added a warning that will be displayed in the Dashboard that an activity with more than a few thousand trackpoints will be slow to display. Long activities recording with 1 second resolution, double centuries and ultra marathons will be subject to this warning.
5862: Reactivate is broken
fixed a bug where re-activation of a customer who's subscription has lapsed will now work.
7251: Time-zone error
Australian time zones have been corrected for some territories. This will not be retroactive at this time, but will be applied to new activities. Older activities may be bulk-updated by MB at a later time.
7368: Keyword search order returns unobvious results
Keyword searching for 'Boulder Trail Running' for example would not return the same results as 'Trail Running Boulder'. Now it does.
7418: Edge 205 elevation not being set properly
Edge 205 now indicates it does not have a barometric alitimeter nor is it HR capable. FR 205 did the same.
7522: quote in location breaks map view
fixed a bug where a quote in the activity name didn't allow someone to click on the link in the Map view of the digest.
7509: Dashboard Titles are exposing special characters.
fixed a bug where the title of the browser would show #45 and other escape characters when there was an apostrophe or other special character. This would also show up in bookmarks.
7515: Keyword search for Event Type not working
keyword searches will now find event type.
7218: Type-o
fixed a type-o in the location naming where Lake Butler, Florida was coming up as Lake Butter. See, we do listen:)
