The upload routine is the process each user must follow to get GPS data onto MotionBased.

Description
Just like sending photos or videos to a website, there is a process for sending GPS data to MotionBased. The typical routine starts by connecting your GPS device to a computer and ends when you submit the activity to your Digest for online viewing, sharing, and storage. Once the upload process is complete, MotionBased will forever store your activity.
It's a relatively simple process that quickly becomes routine.
Requirements
To get data from your device to MotionBased, you need the following:
- Supported device
- MotionBased Account
- Internet connection
- MotionBased Agent
Getting Started
Once you have recorded an outdoor activity with a supported device and comply with the above requirements, you're ready do to beiging the Upload Routine.
Upload Routine Instructions
- Get data and send to MotionBased
- Connect GPS device to computer
- Launch MotionBased Agent (Mac Users use Mac Web Agent)
- Click 'Synconize Activities'
- Confirm synconization and delievery by reading agent messages.
- After MotionBased receives your data it is added to a queue for upload processing (no action required). Once processing is complete, it's added to your Inbox
- Go to MotionBased > My Activities > Inbox (http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/inbox/view.mb)- name and catagorize (comments optional) and submit to your Digest.
That's it, the Upload Routine is complete. The activity has been added to your Digest
